We are looking for mental health therapist(s) with a unique area of specialty. Currently, we have licensed mental health therapists who specialize in Children, Teens, Adults, and Seniors. ADHD, Anxiety, BabyLoss, Trauma, General Grief, OCD, Compulsions, Tourettes, Functional Neurological Disorders (FND), Mood Disorders, Premarital Counseling, Social Justice OCD, Sexual Function / Dysfunction, GLBTQ+ just to name a few. We are open to bringing on a therapist with a unique area of specialty, especially if you are a therapist that is well trained. Ideally, you would be a licensed social worker, licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist or a licensed psychologist.
Still early on in your mental health therapy / counseling career? Most of our offices , but not all, are set up to hire pre-licensed clinicians. We have a robust training program that includes up a minimum of 3 hours a week of clinical supervision. Our focus is on "Growth." We are known for the support that we provide new clinicians as well as seasoned mental health clinician's at any stage of their career. We pride ourselves on being a teaching organization. What is The Center For Growth's focus? When we first began in 1997, we were exclusively focused on issues related to sexuality. In 2005 we began working with clients struggling with other types of issues, such as depression, anxiety and grief. In 2010 we launched our first support group. Today, we have over ten different active therapeutic and support groups. In addition to widening the types of services offered to clients, our mission changed to helping clinician's understand how they wanted their future to look and following their therapeutic passions. This shift away from sex therapy was profound. Today we are a much more dynamic organization that is always growing and shifting to support the needs of our clinician's. We have grown exponentially in the types of groups, workshops and trainings that we offer. Additionally, we now work collaboratively with many more types of institutions that we ever did in the past. As we have shifted our focus and expanded the number of services that we offer clients, we have become one of the leading organizations to train therapists.
The Center For Growth supports the ongoing education, training and overall well-being necessary to keep our clinicians at the forefront of our field by providing our mental health therapists / clinicians with:
- 2-hour weekly group supervision
- 1-hour a week of Individual supervision until licensed
- Licensed therapists: Weekly individual supervision for the first year
- Monthly virtual & InPerson social gatherings
Supervisors receive:
- 1-hour weekly group supervision of supervision
- Twice a month individual supervision of supervision for the first year

The Center for Growth has four different types of positions that you may apply for:
- Full-time therapist positions, 40 hours a week:
- See 25 clients a week
- Answer the intake line
- Contribute a self-help tip twice a month to our client resources
- Audio / Video tape all sessions
- Attend weekly 2 hour group supervision
- Attend one hour a week of individual supervision (until licensed)
- Attend optional social events
- Part-time positions, 20-30 hours a week
- See 13-15 clients a week
- Answer the intake line
- Contribute one self-help tip a month.
- Audio / Video tape all sessions
- Attend weekly 2 hour group supervision
- Attend one hour a week of individual supervision (until licensed)
- Attend optional social events
- Super part-time positions, 10-19 hours a week
- See 10 clients a week
- Answer the intake line
- Contribute one self help tip a month
- Audio / Video tape all sessions
- Attend weekly 2 hour group supervision
- optional social events
- Super part time therapists must pay $50 a week for individual supervision (yes, we subsidize the cost of individual supervision). You are also welcome to work with an outside supervisor (at this time we are unable to contribute to the cost for an outside supervisor).
* Senior Level Therapists to join our Management Team: In addition to doing individual, couples and family therapy you would be expected to supervise associate level therapists as well as engage in administrative duties. You must have at least 5 years post-masters level experience. You must be licensed and able to supervise clinician's working towards their license. Your exact role will depend upon your qualifications & skill sets. Please let us know your dream position, and then we will share our reality.
