Julie Pisani, LAMFT

Julie Pisani has her associates license in marriage and family therapy.  She uses a trauma-informed, strength-based, and collaborative approach. She works to build a strong therapeutic alliance and create a safe and welcoming environment. Some of Julie’s focus areas are working with clients experiencing personal challenges due to anxiety, OCD, anger, emotional Regulation, ADHD, and depression. Julie works with individuals, couples, and families, but her specialty is working with adolescents, teens, and young adults. Julie implements cognitive behavioral therapy, systematic theory, attachment theory, and mindfulness into her treatment.  

Julie Pisani is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University’s Department of Counseling and Behavioral Health, where she studied Couple and Family Therapy. During her time at Thomas Jefferson, she specialized in systemic family therapy. Julie is currently working towards her license as a Marriage and Family Therapist through her work at The Center for Growth.

While obtaining her master’s degree, Julie completed an internship and training at Council for Relationships in Philadelphia, PA. During this time, Julie worked with individuals, families, and couples of all ages, going through personal and relationship challenges. Julie also organized and facilitated group therapy for youth and adolescents aged 5 years to 18 years old.
